FAQ: What does the error "SEC Bad" mean?

The SEC bad error is generally the result of the front panel processor on the 6030 series being unable to communicate with the Control board/Interface processor. When this happens intermittently, it is frequently the result of a defective/intermittent cable, or one poorly inserted, or a bad socketed component.
